Everything you need to know about the design and development subscription.
Because a full-time hire is a fixed cost: salary, benefits, paid leave, equipment and tooling, every month, whether or not there is work waiting for them. And one person rarely covers it — design and development are usually two separate hires. Here you get both for USD 2,000 a month, and you can pause the subscription whenever the queue is empty, so you only pay for the months you use.
Once subscribed, you can have as many requests as you like in your backlog and I will work through them one at a time as each one is completed. You have full control over your board and can reorder requests however you see fit. Only one request at a time is allowed in the active queue.
Most requests are completed within 2 days. More complex work, such as a full site or a branding project, can take longer. I tend to break the bigger tasks into smaller pieces so you keep getting updates every couple of days.
Shortly after signing up you will get a welcome email with a link to your board in Trello. It makes task management easier and also lets you share documents, wireframes, links and other references. If you would rather not write briefs, you can record a short video with a tool like Loom instead. Your board comes with steps for getting started and for sending your first request. You have full control over your board and over which requests go into the active queue.
No problem at all! Just leave your feedback on the board and I will send new revisions until you are 100% happy.
Yes. The following types of work are not covered: 3D design and modelling, animated graphics (such as GIFs), complex packaging design; design of long printed materials (such as magazines and books); video creation or editing.
It is understandable that you may not have enough work to fill a whole month. Maybe you only have one or two requests right now. That is where pausing your subscription comes in handy. Billing cycles run on a 31-day period. Say you sign up and use the service for 21 days, then decide to pause. The billing cycle pauses with it and you keep 10 days of service to use whenever you want in the future.
This is a one-person studio, run by Ema Cargnino, the founder. Nobody else is employed and no work is subcontracted to anyone else. You work directly with me throughout.

Given the high-quality nature of the work, no refunds are issued after the first week of service. No refunds are issued for completed work either. If you do not wish to renew your subscription, cancellation must be requested at least 48 hours before the next billing date.
